Matthew (Page) was born in Melbourne and raised in Sydney, Australia. At 48 years of age, Matthew sees himself as a technically astute individual with a developed ability to adapt to challenges encountered in his working career. Having married in Switzerland in 1993, Matthew spent eight years working as a building services consultant in Zurich. He is bilingual and recommends learning a second language to appreciate what it means to be capable but not able to communicate.
Matthew is a Project Director with Coffey Projects, a member of the Coffey International Group. His most recent achievements include the completion of a master’s degree in Project Management at Queensland University of Technology. In 2009, Matthew was a recipient of the ‘Runner-Up’ title in the Queensland chapters Australian Institute of Project Managements PMAA awards in the category of projects valued above $100m. The completed project was the Polaris data centre, valued at $120m and situated in Brisbane’s western suburb of Springfield.
With a full appreciation of the design consultant’s role, Matthew strives as a project manager to promote a firm but fair approach and build teams that work cohesively and towards a meaningful outcome.
